9/2 v's Normanhurst

Win 6-2

Played 4/5/12

Congratulation to all the girls in our team. This was our first game of the season yet the girls played as though they had all played together before. The team spirit and enthusiasm on and off the court was fantastic to watch and be a part of. All the girls played extremely well but a special mention to Sarah for her great efforts in defence and Emma for her accurate goal shooting. Keep up the great work!!

9 White v's OLHC

Loss 0-10

Played 4/5/12

Cheetahs faced some tough opposition in this game, but the girls showed some great talent and dedication!  Kirtana and Ava, our shooters, were very patient waiting for some ball, worked well in the Goal Circle and put up some terrific attempts at goal.  Our Centre Court players, Ellie, Sarah and Lizemarie were terrific!  They all showed great speed on the court, and switched beautifully between attack play (space) and defence (rubber bands).  There was real magic in Defence, with both Danielle and Ruby giving outstanding performances!  Danielle never stopped running, and stayed with a very quick and bouncy opposition.  Ruby listened beautifully to the coach, followed her opposition as much as possible and made some terrific intercepts and deflections.  Because of her dedication and focus, Ruby was awarded Player of the Week.  Well done, Ruby!

9 White  v's Pennant Hills

Win 8-1

Played 27/4/12

9 White (otherwise known as the Cherrybrook Cheetahs) have been training hard and were really excited to finally get on the court.  Band Camp took two of our players away, but we had two fantastic subs - Erica and Charlotte - both of whom provided valuable support in the mid-court.  For our two defenders, Kirtana and Ava, this was their first game EVER but they looked like old pros!  They both stuck to their players for the entire match, and were always ready for the rebound!  Ruby starred in WA and C, and was a valuable contributor around the goal circle.  Our shooters, Ellie and Sarah were simply magnificent and worked beautifully as a team!  They were quick with their passes and always made sure that one of them was under the post to receive the ball.  A Super Star performance by a sensational group of netballers!  Well done to Ellie, our player of the week, for shooting 7 goals!

12/3 v's Rebels

Win 14-9

19/5/12

We secured another solid win and have to thank Mikayla from the 10/1s for playing for us.  Our Coach switched our positions for the second half which we adapted well to.  Our defensive and attacking combinations are continuing to strengthen each week.

12/3 v's Thornleight

Win 25-3

Played 5/5/12

It was another fantastic game for the girls. They played exceptionally well as a team and won convincingly. The girls started strongly and steady attack enabled Olivia to easily sink the first shot of the game. The goals continued to mount with Olivia and Hannah doing a fabulous job with the conversions. Centre Millie dominated the mid-court and maintained a fast pace through the middle with support from Brinda on the attack. Amelia & Courtney did well not to give the opposition much of a look at our goal. Charlotte was great in Wing Defence and stepping into Goal Shooter in the last quarter. Well done team!

12/3 v's Carlingford

Win 13-9

Played 28/4/12

What a great start to the season with a win! Considering over half the team havnt played together before, the girls connected really well. The scores were very close for most of the game until the last quarter when they streaked ahead.Hannah was on fire scoring the majority of the goals. Amelia as goal defence and and Courtney as goal keeper made for a great defence, managing to keep the ball out of the back circle a lot of the time and Brinda as wing attack and Millie as centre kept that ball flowing up the court. Agnes who filled in for the game was great in wing defense in the first half and centre in the second half. Millie scored an excellent goal in the second half as goal shooter. Charlotte teamed up well with Hannah as goal scorer in the first half and played a strong game in the second half as wing defence. Keep up the good work girls!

13/1 v's Rebels

Win 32-12

Played 28/4/12

What a great start to the season! We were a bit nervous as this was our first match playing up in the 15/2’s but the girls pulled together as a team with each one of them giving their best. Congratulations girls, you all played really well – keep up your enthusiasm for the games ahead!

8 Gold (Team 38) v's St Agatha's
Win 5-2
Played 6/5/11

Congratulations girls on another good win.  Sophie and Imojen defended very well, with Bianca and Kelly strong in the centre court.  Sarah and Alison found lots of space and were hungry for the ball.  Paris shot well with 3 goals and Kellie shot her first goal and topped it off with another in the 3rd quarter.  We are looking forward to another good game next Friday.

13/1 (Team 19) v's Normanhurst

Win 37-27

Played 6/8/11

Another great start - what a fantastic result against the team in 2nd position!  Our circle defence of Elin and Rebecca were exceptional today.  Our centre court Colleen Rach and Katie had to run the full game as we only had 7 players today.  Great effort girls.  Nat and Renee (and Elin to finish) you were on fire today - great shooting!!  With semis approaching, it was great to witness a true TEAM effort. Congratulations girls - great game!!

13/1 (Team 20) v's Cherrybrook (Team 19)

Win 19-14

Played 30/4/11

What a awesome start to the season. Alicia and Olivia were consistant in attack whilst Carly and Amber popped the goals in.  Angela, Jenna and Courtney's defence was solid. Well played girls, good luck for the rest of the season. Your coaches Derani and Clare and parents are all proud of you.

13/1 (Team 20) v's Carlingford

Win 24-5

Played 28/5/11

Congratulations girls on another win. Although the team was plagued with illness, all the girls gave 100%.  Courtney and Ollie were brilliant in attack and a great defensive effort by Jenna, Angela and Kate – Ang and Kate once again locking the opposition out of the goal circle at every opportunity.

Alicia, Carly and Amber shot beautifully for ¾ and a surprise change in the last quarter with Kate and Carly swapping positions. Kate managed to score a goal and Carly proved a force to be reckoned with as GK, notching up a significant number of intercepts.

The 2nd half was cut short with time called for an ambulance to attend to any injury, but the girls still managed a very convincing win.

We look forward to next week's big game against the team coming first in our competition.

13/1 (Team 20) v's Normanhurst

Win 38-14

Played 4/6/11

Today the girls played the team coming first in our competition, and as such, there was uncertainty as to how the match would play out.

Thanks to the direction and leadership of our wonderful Coaches, Derani and Clare, the girls came out strong.  Courtney and Alicia set a cracking pace in centre court with Ollie, Kate and Angela in defence causing an upset in the opposition circle with only 3 goals scored in the first quarter and none in the second quarter.

Second half saw our team up 19 to 3 and a change in defence with Jenna taking the court in spectacular form. Building on the lead from the first two quarters, Amber and Carly worked the circle hard and continued our impressive lead, finishing the match with a comfortable win 38-14.

Well done girls.  Enjoy the break over the long weekend, and we look forward to the last match of Round 1 when we verse Pennant Hills.

13/1 (Team 20) v's Pennant Hills

Win 25-11

Played 18/6/11

Undefeated! What a nice way to finish the first half of the draw girls! The girls all started off strong taking a nice lead by the end of the 1st quarter, they then had a bit of a rest for the 2nd and 3rd quarters then came back strong again in the 4th quarter to win the game. Our defence was strong with some nice tips and some wonderful intercepts, mid court players found space and moved the ball up quickly to assist in the scoring of 25 beautiful goals and rebounding at both ends was strong. Some of the girls wore unfamilar patches today giving them the opportunity to feel what is like to play in different positions. Well done to those girls that took this on. Keep up the great work team, and keep challenging yourself each week girls.

13/1 (Team 20) v's Cherrybrook (Team 19)

Win 24-12

Played 25/6/11

It was Cherrybrook versus Cherrybrook today for round two and our girls did not let us down. All players had the challenge of a slippery end of the court which thankfully, after a few scary moments, did not result in any serious injuries. There were some excellent moves from our shooters Carly and Amber under tough defence as they continued to pop those goals in. Angela and Kate were very tight in their defence with great intercepts and rebounds rewarding all their hard work. The centre court was dominated by Alicia, Jenna and Olivia as they worked tirelessly to get the ball down to the shooters.
A big thank you to Eden and Elisa-Jane who helped out during the second half, they were a great combination in defence.
Well done girls, we are proud of you!

13/1 (Team 19) v's Normanhurst

Win 21-20

Played 28/5/11

WOW!!  To beat the team on top of the table made a beautiful morning at Pennant Hills - spectacular!!   Congratulations girls on a very strong 4th quarter.  To come from behind and win is always very exciting but to win the final quarter 8 - 3 was just an amazing effort. To Georgia, Nat, Elin, Katie, Rach, Colleen, Renee and Bec - simply awesome - you earned your Cherry Ripe today!!

Annalise, Monet and Suzann worked hard in attack and threw some fabulous passes. A great effort by all!!

Under 8 Gold (Team 41) V's Normanhurst 22

Loss 1-0

Played - 24/04/10

Our girls showed great improvement from their first week.  Girls followed instruction from the coach well by staying on their players when their opponents had the ball and spreading out when we had it. The girls had the majority of possession and won all around the court but unfortunately were unable to convert this in to goals. Going down 1-0 didn't really reflect the effort and improvement the girls showed. Seren was announced player of match after pulling off a number of intercepts.

Today's game was 9 Years Netball at its best. We met our match and contested Galston right up until the bell in the last quarter. Our top defenders were Charolette, Zara, Courtney and Caitlin. What a fantastic effort from these 4 girls preventing Galston to score in the 2nd and 3rd Quarters. Our Centre court players Emily and Montana worked extremely well together around the circle in terrible slippery and wet conditions and mastered  quick strong chest passes that always found their mark in the circle. Wonderful positioning and Shooting  in the Circle Emma and Caitlin never giving up and dominating play in the last 3 quarters of the game. CONGRATULATIONS TEAM ... 9 Gold (Team 37) V's Galston 17

Win 14- 0

Played - 8/5/10

What a great game played by  Cherrybrook Gold today! Everyone worked hard to make sure that the ball was nearly always  in our possession. 44 attempts at goal showed just how hard our team was working the court. When Galston did get the ball, our players also worked very hard in defensive positions. Player of the match today was Claire Paul. Great game team.

9/1 (Team 35) V's Rebels

Win 22-1

Played - 15/5/2010

After having a bye last week the team came back ready to play some great netball. The girls moved the ball down the court and around the goal circle really well with some fantastic passing by Emily, Zara, Courtney and Caitlin. Tight  defence by Charlotte, Emma and Montana had the opposition with a "held" ball a number of times. The girls played extremely well as a team and showed wonderful sportsmanship. Emily was our player of the week for her outstanding passing and constant intercepts.

9 Gold (Team 37) V's Rebels 23

Win 5-1

Played - 24/4/10

What a great game played by the team with some standout performances by Taylor Foxall (defence in goal & player of the match) and Emily Fraietta for her goal shooting. Both teams had equal ball possession, but Cherrybrook was able to convert attempts to goals as a result of good ball passing along the court and sheer determination. Special mention to Sophie Jakobs for player of the week from last week and a fantastic game at centre.

9/1  Team 35 V's Hills Grammar

Win 24 - 2

Played - 24/04/10

A fantastic effort by all the girls with great teamwork and passing from Emma, Montana and Emily in the centre court, tight defence and some nice intercepts from Zara, Charlotte and Caitlin, and great shooting from Courtney, Caitlin and Charlotte. Our player of the match was Courtney for her fabulous shooting, moving in the circle and jumping for lots of rebounds.

9/1  V's Normanhurst

Win 17-2

Played - 1/5/10

Our wonderful team is thriving under the guidance of Tracey and Lucy. Zara had a quiet half as GK, but a great second half as WD, where she was running into gaps and passing well. Charlotte played a hard game as GD and C. Her anticipation of the game is notable as is her determination. If the team needed to pass the ball, Emma, (WD & WA), was always free and quick to run after loose balls. Montana had a great game as C being all over the court, and running into the gaps to get free. As GK, Montana was good at sticking to her partner. Emily shot some beautiful goals in the second half, and was free for just about every centre pass as WA and GA. Caitlin (GA & GD) had a good game with many intercepts, jumping to get the ball from Normanhurst. Courtney was an excellent GS for the entire match, getting many balls in on her first attempt. Her determination to take ownership of the ball is an asset. Normanhurst played a lovely game and everyone had a good time despite the wet start.

9/1 (Team 35) V's Cherrybrook (Team 36)

What an exciting, close game to start the season! Both Cherrybrook teams should be proud of how well they played their first game of competition netball. Well done to our centre court players Emily, Montana (plus Zara and Emma for a quarter) who were quick with their passing and moving around the court along with our excellent shooters Caitlin, Emma (and Montana for the last quarter) who moved and passed to each other really well in the circle. Our player of the week was Emma for her excellent passing and breaking for every ball.

10/1 (Team 32) V's North Epping Rangers

Win  10-3

Played - 29/05/10

Despite the rainy and cold conditions the girls arrived full of excitement and ready and willing to give it their best! North Epping found it difficult to get through our tight defence from the first whistle. Over and over their balls were intercepted by Kyara, Amelia & Charlotte, while their players tried to break away from our tight defence. Despite the slippery conditions the girls also played hard in attack. Lucy, Milly and Hannah worked wonders continually feeding the ball towards the goal circle. Alex and Joanna were stars in the goal circle, working well together to share our 10 goals. Well done girls, in what were very challenging conditions (…well for the mums and dads on the sidelines anyway!!)

 10/1 (Team 32) V's Hills Grammar

 Loss 16-10

Played - 15/5/10

A tough game today! Lucy and Hannah worked hard mid court with swift centre passes and quick breaking..Amelia and Charlotte were relentless in defence making aggressive intercepts on several occasions. Both Alex and Joanna worked the circle beautifully scoring an amazing 10 goals under great pressure from our opponents. Milly and Kyara had the toughest job today as the Hills Grammar team proved to be just a little stronger. Great job girls.

10/1 (Team 32) V's - Galston

Win 11-8

Played - 08/05/10

What an exciting game the girls put on for us today! The first half saw all the girls confidently take control. Our defenders Charlotte, Kyara and Amelia made it very tough for Galston to make any headway, while Hannah, Milly and Alex grabbed all opportunities in attack with some fast passes and fancy footwork. The highlight of the game was the way Lucy and Alex worked the goal circle with some excellent breaks and positioning to snag 8 quick goals and take us into half time with an 8-2 lead. Galston fought back hard in the 2nd half and our weary girls hung on desperately with Alex continuing her superb shooting to snatch an exciting 11-8 win. Congrats to all players on a great game!

10/1 V's Rebels

Win 13-5

Played - 01/05/10

What a great game! The girls played so well & their efforts paid off with a win of 13-5 against a great team, the Rebels. Alex, Lucy & Joanna shot the winning goals today - well done girls, but not without the help from their team mates. Hannah & Milly worked hard in the centre third & brought the ball down with some great passes. Kyara, Charlotte & Amelia did some fantastic intercepts & worked hard at keeping the ball from the opposition. Well done girls!!

10 /1's V's Hills Grammar

Win  35-2

Played - 24/4/10

Wow- another fantastic win! The game took the girls by surprise when Hills Grammar scored the first goal. This was to be short lived as the girls shifted their game into attack and we watched some superb team plays down the court. Emma Smith and Ellie worked extremely well together in the goal circle, making great anticipated passes and consistently scoring well. There was also excellent team work and feeding into the circle from Georgia and Mallory in the first half and Piper and Eliza in the second half. Defence worked hard all match with Jemma and Emma Robinson containing the goal circle and making good intercepts. They were supported by strong centre court and wing defence plays. The whole team played hard and their maturity in reading court play combined with their hungriness for ball possession made for some keen spectator watching. Thanks again to the coaches Sharon and Jane for their efforts.

Good game today girls.  While we didn’t win, this was a solid performance and the girls are starting to work together more effectively as a team.  Our defensive work was tight, mid court play good and we saw plenty of action in attack.  A big thank you to Taylah and Debbie our wonderfully wise and patient coaches, and a special mention to those in the club, particularly teams 31 and 27, who rally behind us and spur the team on.

11/1 (Team 28) V's St Patricks

Loss  22-17

Played 31/7/10

Wow what a game!
On Saturday July 31st Cherrybrook team 28 had a smashing game, we had great goals by our shooters, awesome defence and intercepts and attacks just to get it down to our end was fantastic. We are very proud of how we played cause we tried our best but  unfortunately to us we got beaten by St Patricks by 5 goals with the score 17-22. It was a disappointment but at the same time an achievement to have played so well. Our players stuck with their opponents and had a great game of netball. St Patricks played great so did we ,so a tough game but a competitive, and fun game.

11/1 (Team 28) V's St Agathas

Loss

Played 24/7/10

This Saturday was an excellent game. All of our team mates played well with enthusiasm like they wanted to win. Sadly we lost though it was a very tough game against the other team and it didn’t help much because it was slippery and wet. Even though they didn’t have many opportunities to shoot, Carly and Katelyn got almost every goal up and through the ring when we had thrown the ball down in our goal circle- absolutely outstanding!! Our defences, Victoria, Abbey and Rhiannon kept very close to their players in their goal circle. They were a very fast the St Agathas team, but we still did some nice intercepts. Playing in the mid court were Nahara, Alicia and Zoë who worked hard to intercept centre passes. Our mid court players were also moving the ball up the court very quickly and improved on their channelling. Our whole team worked as hard as they could and continued to do so under a lot of pressure right until the final bell. This was a great game girls and well done to all the players- you worked really hard!!!

11/1 (Team 28) V's Rebels

 Win 21-5

Played 26/6/10

It was an amazing start to the game, considering the cold wet conditions. With a mix of different positions, we pulled together brilliantly. Our defences, Abbey, Victoria and Rhiannon were non-stop with their tight defence and completely closing down the rebels circle. The blocking was tremendous and the tipping and intercepts of the ball was very impressive. By half time we had a lead of 16-3. Our mid court players, Alicia, Georgia and Nihara used their knowledge of channels wisely, used their three seconds to make the right decision and made lots of smooth passes. Our shooters, Carly and Katelyn had sensational shooting skills and were on target just about every time. They also used their skills and used the circle wisely. Overall we had awesome shooting, great attacking and fabulous defence. Sadly we allowed rebels to close in on us in the fourth quarter but at full time we won against rebels, 21-15. Special congratulations to Georgia who was player of the match. A well deserved win which all the team worked hard for.

11/1 (Team 28) V's Galston

 Loss  24-19

Played 5/6/10

Awesome Effort Today Girls. A well played game by these little ones today with improvement shown by every single player.  Albeit  not a win but the score was 16 all at three quarter time with Galston just taking the 4th quarter from us. Our aim this half of the season is to reduce the margins of the first season and the girls certainly pulled that off by improving the score by 10 goals. Well done everyone!! Our defence is much tighter with  Abbey, Zoe and Rhiannon putting the pressure on and achieving some wonderful  tips, intercepts and... not giving up until the final bell and against tough opponents too. Mid court players Nihara, Georgia and Victoria channelled really well today and with improvement in all round breaking and passing, they moved the ball quickly up to our shooters with good team work. Our shooters Carly and Alicia were on the mark today with great movement and shooting to score 19 beautiful goals for their team. A wonderful effort by every single player in the team. Well done girls...keep up the good work.

11/1 (Team 28) V's  Beecroft

Win 23-13

Played - 29/5/10

A slow start to the game due to slippery, wet, cold conditions, but the girls stayed focus on their passing, timing and channelling, which proved to pay off as our girls lead the whole game. In circle defences Abbey and Victoria had a great game, putting pressure on the Beecroft shooters the entire game and took some nice intercepts, rebounds and were successful in blocking the shooters out of the circle over and over again. Our mid court players Georgia, Nihara and Zoe worked really well together, working continually hard to break forward and making nice passes to take the ball quickly up to our shooters.   Nice goal shooting today by Alicia, Carly and Katelyn with much improved percentages in shooting against some really tall, tough defence and a heavy wet ball. Well done to the whole team who today played as a "team". Congratulations on your win girls!!!

11/1 (Team 28)  V's St Patricks

Loss 13-11

Played - 22/5/10

OH SO CLOSE. Thrilling is the word to describe this game. A nail biting game for our girls today with St Patricks leading the game in the 1st and 2nd quarter. Our girls walked onto the court at half time focused and determined and with that caught up to St Patricks to bring the game to an even score by the end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter saw both teams scoring one for one with St Patricks taking the last two goals in the last minute of the game. It's very exciting to see this team improve week after week. Well done girls.  Keep up the good work.

11/1 (Team 27) V's Galston

Win 33/1

Played 15/5/10

Again the first quarter of the match was tight, with our girls conceding 3 of Galston’s  4 goals in the first 15 minutes.  Our girls ignited in the 2nd quarter to finish with a sensational 33/4 win.   Kate and Angela locked down the circle and kept the opposition without a single goal in the last half.    Jenna held firm in GD and helped return possession to our centre court players swiftly.  Olivia and Hayley fed to the shooters Bree, Georgia and Courtney who shot 33 goals between them.  Another great game girls.

11/1 (Team 27) V's Cherrybrook

Win 42/11

Played 8/5/10

“Go Cherrybrook” was all that was heard on the indoor court for this match.  Cherrybrook 27 played Cherrybrook 28 and every girl that took the court gave it their all.  Both teams battled for possession and it was a great contest.  Congratulations to both teams –see you again in round 11.

11/1 (Team 27) V's St Patricks

Win  21/10

Played 1/5/10

Jenna and Olivia held the C position in this match and both gave our girls strong starts off the centre passes.  Georgia and Bree worked the circle putting into play some of the shooting training from the previous day’s training.  Courtney and Hayley played on the wings with Angela and Kate one again locking the opposition out of the goal circle at every opportunity.   The game was more difficult by the wet court but our girls all played well.

 11/1 (Team 28) V's Rebels

Win 11-7

A slow game today with the girls tentative of playing on the wet slippery courts but the team brought home a well deserved win none the less against tough competition. Taking up as many opportunities as they could, the girls worked together as a tight team. Congratulations girls you all played really well. Awesome effort by all!!

11/1 (Team 27) V's Beecroft

Win 33 - 7

Played - 17/4/10

A sensational start to 2010.  Although the girls took a while to warm up and finished the first quarter only 1 goal up on the opposition, it didn’t take them long to put the pressure on.  Courtney and Georgia shot an amazing 33 goals between them, at least half of which with the sun in their eyes.  We mixed up the mid court with Hayley, Jenna and Olivia moving the ball into our circle smoothly.  In defence, Kate and Angela took intercepts left, right and centre and returned the ball to Cherrybrook from almost every rebound, helping our team to win 33/7.  Thanks to our Coach Clare for preparing us so well and of course we can’t wait for the return of our injured player, Bree.

12/1 (Team 23) V's Normanhurst

Draw 21-21

Played - 29/5/10

Wow, what a tight match playing indoors. When we started the game we were pumped and ready to go. In the first quarter we had some brilliant defence and attack! Throughout the game we had to work hard but the girls still had smiles on their faces. They showed great determination and never gave up. In the end we tied but we were still happy with what we had achieved. Well done!

12/1 (Team 23)  V's Rebels

Win 36 - 11

Played - 24/4/10

Wow a great team effort by all girls made for an exceptional game.  Great shooting and passing in the goal circle by Maddie & Natalie (11 goals were scored in the 2nd quarter with only 1 goal scored by Rebels in this quarter).  Strong defence, intercepts and zoning out the opposition by Rebecca & Renee in the 1st half of the game and then Brianna & Renee in 2nd half.  Superb centre court play, intercepts and wonderful passing of the ball down the court by Rachael, Grace, Katie & Colleen.  Well done girls on a brilliant game, we’ve very proud of you all.

13/2  V's Beecroft

Loss 17 - 31

Played - 29/5/10

A good effort under trying conditions! As the rain fell our girls didn't flinch and just kept on attacking, defending and generally trying to get the ball down our end. Our old rivals Beecroft were too good on the day but we played, we learned and perhaps we'll get them next time. Go Cherrybrook 22!

13/2 (Team 22) V's NER

Win 31 - 11

Played - 15/5/10

Another sterling effort from the girls today. With everyone back on board and fit and healthy, there'll be no stopping this team. Our defence did not give the opposition much opportunity to shoot and our midcourt players flew the ball down to the shooters who converted on most occasions. Well done team!

13/2 (Team 22)  V's St Agathas

Loss 19 - 27

Played - 24/4/10

The girls faced some tough competition today and performed admirably. They really had to dig deep this time which they all did, showing some good defence, breaks and goal conversions. Today's game was a challenging one and although we didn't come out in front, the girls enjoyed themselves and learned some valuable things. Well done Cherrybrook.

13/2 V's Galston

Win 20 - 15

Played - 17/4/10

What a great start to the season! We were a bit nervous of the unknown this season and this was our first match playing up an age group. The girls went in hard and fast and soon took an early lead. They had to work hard however to maintain this lead and found themselves at 14 all in the last quarter. They all pulled together for the remaining time and managed to come up with the win. A sterling effort girls!

15/1  V's Pennant Hills

Loss 26-31

Played - 29/05/10

To lose by 5 to the competition leaders, in horrendous conditions, was a great result today. Well played everyone - I'm sure Beecroft are very concerned about next week's match.  After today - you know you can do it!!  Let's make round 2 - Cherrybrook's Round!!

15/1 V's NER

Win 43-13

Played - 15/05/10

Another great game.  Don't you love those spectacular intercepts (a bit like Laura Geitz gone hunting!) - and don't you hate it when you give it straight back (certain members of Cherrybrook 14)!!  Take a breath and have a look - "treasure" that ball when we have possession and let's go hard against the two top teams in our next two matches.  You can do it!!

15/1 V's WPH

Win 36-17

Played - 01/05/10

The merging of 3 teams has given us this year's Cherrybrook Team 14.  We are Alysha, Brooke, Caity, Emily G, Emily J, Nat, Tash, Taylah and Tegs. Though we are still getting used to playing with each other, we managed to have a fantastic win against WPH.  At the end of the first quarter we were up 12-3. Great start!! Then we had a bit of a "nanna nap" for 2 quarters then came home strong winning the final quarter 12-5. A game of fantastic intercepts and tips, and quality rebounds.  Well done girls!
